...

Can't really ruin a book that no one reads, but thankfully I don't have to worry about it because, unless you're on the last page, you're not going to understand it out of context.
This is Elidor from Dragonlance: the New Adventures.

I frankly really love him as a character, I've drawn him a few times, and STILL I'm not happy with him.
I found as of late that in his trilogy, I have a list of things he's wearing. Somehow he has a shirt showing through, a tunic, AND a light leather jacket. I have no idea how he pulled off all three, but that's what book three of his trilogy says, so that's what I'm going with instead of the normal fighting equipment I give him.

The chalice is crystal, it should be see through I believe, but it just looked better frosted when all was said and done.
Very happy with my green fire though. That came out so good on accident ^^;
Also, Elidor was 'smiling' at this part, but I could just imagine a few tears. Sure the author never said anything, but it's my interpretation XD

From his first introduction sentence to his last, Elidor is one of the best versions of an 'outcast', a 'difference in society', and yet he retains a reality to him (as much of a reality as a fantasy novel can give) mostly for the reason that he is NOT amazing. He's not the best out there. He doesn't gain power from being an outcast, he gains street smarts. There's a huge difference, and it equals out to knowledge. And only knowledge as far as how it comes to his current life and interaction. It doesn't make him He-man. I think that's why I love him so much. He's good, he's not great, and he's not perfect.
I'm ranting about him but he's a 'bad' good guy, and he's one of my favorite thieves, who just... I can't say he's human because he's not but yeah XD
He's very relatable, even if none of the situations he's in are the same, because his relationships are realistic. He's emotions are understandable. He changes who he is through the books far more so, I believe, than any of the others.
This picture is from the last book of his spin off Trilogy, but if anyone can ever get their hands on the books and give it more than a chapter's worth of a chance, considering the fantasy factor if you're new to it like I was at the time, and the fact that it's aimed at teens and younger reading level, it really is worth it.

I loved reading this part of the book!

*spoiler (maybe)*
Right after this when he made the wish, I actually thought they did it wrong like they had the wrong password. I was so heart broken that I had to put the book down.
*end of spoiler*

Then I read the next paragraph and things made since. =P (Razz)

This was the trilogy that got me into the Dragonlance world... And D&D! I loved Elidor! Especially while he was losing his marbles and his relationships with his group became strained.
